Thank you for your interest in participating and supporting Dragon Youth Baseball!
Welcome to the registration form for the Spring 2025 DYB season. Here, you will enroll your player, provide contact information and uniform size, sign consents, choose a Player Evaluation time slot, and submit payment for each of your players. Please help us by reading each page thoroughly and double-checking to ensure that all of the information entered for each player is accurate. In order to complete each registration via our secure payment website provided by SportsEngine, please also have your credit card information ready to use at checkout.
DYB offers leagues as follows-
Age Groups:
- 4U (ages 3-4), 5U, 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 12U (ages 11-12), 14U (ages 13-14) and 18U (ages 15-18)
- Please familiarize yourself with our Rules & Exemptions for each Age Group, by visiting the Rules page.
- All players must complete a registration form each season. No exceptions.
- The baseball year starts May 1st, and players will automatically be placed in the appropriate Age Group based on his/her "Baseball Age". Please see our FAQ page for more information.
Player evaluations:
- All players within our 7U-18U Age Groups, who are allowed to play with our Recreational league, will also have the opportunity to be chosen to a team within our Premier league.
- If a player would like to participate in our Premier league, they MUST attend & complete a Player Evaluation.
- During the registration process, you will be asked to choose a preferred Player Evaluation start time.
- Player Evaluations typically take 1-2 hours to complete, and the available time slot options will be spaced out accordingly.
- We strongly encourage parents/guardians to stay and observe your player(s) throughout the Player Evaluation process.
- All players that do not attend our Player Evaluations will be rostered only to Recreational league teams. This means that these players will automatically be disqualified from being considered "Premier Eligible" for this season and will instead be randomly rostered to a Recreational league team during the team draft process.
Recreational & Premier Team Drafts:
- Recreational & Premier league team drafts will take place only after Player Evaluations have been completed and will be conducted under the supervision of the respective Age Group Commissioner.
- The Premier league team(s) will draft & roster their teams from the list of players who were categorized as "Premier Eligible" following Player Evaluations.
- The Recreational league team(s) will then draft & roster their teams from the list of players who remain available, some of whom may have been categorized as "Premier Eligible" but were ultimately not rostered to a Premier league team.
- The names of all players who did not attend a Player Evaluation will then be drawn by each team at random, until such time that all of those players are rostered to a Recreational league team.
Information provided during the registration process WILL NOT be shared with any individuals or associations outside Dragon Youth Baseball.
Dragon Youth Baseball DOES NOT discriminate on the basis of gender, race, sexuality, or religion or in any other manner.
