*** Select Tryouts ***
We are excited to announce that our Select program has opened Tryout registrations for the 2026 Spring season! Select baseball is the highest competitive level program for our young athletes, and as such, it requires a greater level of commitment from their families as well. Our Select program offers players from ages 7 to 18, three levels of competitive baseball: AA, AAA, and Majors.
Tryouts will be held at the Bicentennial Park fields here in Southlake, TX. Tryouts are organized by Baseball Age, with each Age Group holding its own tryout.
Tryout Dates by Age Group:
13U Tryouts will take place on Field 6.
We will communicate the Field Locations for the remaining tryouts on our website closer to November 10th.
Please be advised: All players MUST complete a registration form prior to Tryouts, and that completion of this registration form DOES NOT guarantee a roster invite. DYB will not share any player information provided in this form with any outside associations and/or individuals. DYB does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, sexuality, or religion, or in any other manner. Tryouts will be setup in a practice-like format, so players should expect to be at the fields for about 2 hours including warm ups.

Weather Policy Reminder
The City of Southlake determines field status daily (by 7:30am Saturday, 11:30am Sunday and 3:00pm weekdays) then posts the field status on their website HERE. If this website states that a particular field is open, then games on that particular field will be played as scheduled.
In the event lightning detectors are triggered; all players, coaches, and spectators MUST exit to the parking lots until the all clear sounds.
Should bad weather arrive during games umpires and/or DYB board members will make the necessary decisions to continue, suspend or cancel play based on field conditions, player safety, and time limits.
